Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Senntra, an event management platform operating in Namibia. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use our services.
Senntra provides an online platform for event management, ticketing, vendor marketplace, and fundraising services throughout Namibia. Our services include:
- • Event creation and management tools
- • Ticket sales and distribution
- • Payment processing in Namibian Dollars (NAD) through DPO
- • Vendor marketplace and networking
- • Fundraising campaign management
- • Event analytics and reporting
Account Requirements
- • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- • Provide accurate and complete registration information
- • Maintain the security of your account credentials
- • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
You agree not to:
- • Use the platform for any illegal activities under Namibian law
- • Create fraudulent events or misrepresent event information
- • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- • Engage in discriminatory or harmful behavior
- • Spam or send unsolicited communications
- • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- • Upload malicious software or content
As an event organizer, you must:
- • Provide accurate event information and descriptions
- • Obtain all necessary permits and licenses for your events
- • Comply with all applicable Namibian laws and regulations
- • Honor ticket sales and event commitments
- • Handle attendee data responsibly and in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- • Provide reasonable customer service to attendees
Payment Processing
- • All payments are processed in Namibian Dollars (NAD)
- • Payment processing is handled by DPO (Direct Pay Online)
- • Platform fees of 7% are deducted from all ticket sales
- • Event organizers receive 93% of ticket sales revenue
- • Platform fees apply to all tickets, including promotional tickets
- • Fees are clearly disclosed during the checkout process
- • Payouts are available 7 days before the event date for verified events
Refunds and Cancellations
Refund policies are set by individual event organizers. Senntra facilitates refund processing but is not responsible for organizer refund decisions. Platform fees (7% of ticket price) are generally non-refundable as they cover payment processing, customer support, and platform maintenance services that have already been provided.
Vendor Requirements
- • Valid business registration in Namibia
- • Accurate business and service information
- • Professional conduct with customers
- • Timely delivery of promised services
- • Compliance with all applicable business laws
Our Content
The Senntra platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
User Content
You retain ownership of content you upload to our platform. By uploading content, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute it as necessary to provide our services.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Important Legal Notice
Senntra provides a platform for event management but is not responsible for the actual events, their quality, safety, or any disputes between users. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Namibian law.
Service Availability
While we strive for high availability, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for temporary service disruptions or technical issues.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be resolved in the competent courts of Namibia.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
